Requirements

newer servers are usually configured and loaded with nessacery software so addtional configuration is unessacery. However all these minimum requirements must be met for the software to functional correct and have all functionality. It is allways recommended to have the latest stable release for least bugs, stability and hiqher security.

PHP requirements:

  • PHP v.4.2.x or hiqher -recommended 4.4.8+ (latest)
  • Safemode flag OFF
  • PHP cli for crontab or system functions like fetch, wget or lynx(text browser)
  • Zend optimizer 3.x or hiqher

MySQL Requirements:

  • MySQL v.4.1 -recommended 4.1.22+ (latest)
  • A user with data and structure priviliges and optionally a public user with only select and update priviliges for increased security

Web server

  • Apache 1.3.5 -recommended 1.3.41+ (latest)
  • SSH for install and setup
  • FTP user for upload and install

Please note that we cannot help you with installing required 3rd party software or altering configurations. Please advise your system administrator and let them do the required installs.
